Name That Bollywood Blogger

Presenting ... the video from my book launch party for First Daughter: Extreme American Makeover at the D.C. public library during ALA. I recognize Fuse, Mother Reader, and Judy O'Malley (editor at Charlesbridge) in the front row, but can anybody identify the other hip-shaking, wrist-twisting beauties?

hey, y'all are good! Thanks for posting this, Mitali, for those of us who couldn't be there.

Ha! Betsy/Fuse is in front of me so only every now and then can you see me (white shirt, green pants). I'm the one who every now and then waves her arms totally out of tune with everyone else.

Whereas I myself am hidden skillfully behind the woman showing us what to do. Clever clever me. This explains why I never spotted the camera.

That's actually a pretty fun video, Mitali. Thanks for posting it.

I told Betsy I wasn't going to watch the video, but I did anyway. I'm the gal in the yellow shirt in front for all to see. Why in the heck do I look soooo much taller than everyone else?! I'm only 5'5"!!! The only explanation must be the camera angle.

Thanks, Mitali, for a fabulous party!

I'm the one in the very back in the white dress looking completely lost. I came late and missed the lesson, and I'm not much of a dancer anyway, so I didn't have a clue what to do. I enjoyed watching the dancing, though. It's too bad that Fuse is partially hidden; she can really move! Who knew that Fuse could count dancing among her many talents?

It was a great party, and I'm sorry that I missed part of it. Thanks for letting me come in spite of my last minute RSVP.

Hold it, did you say first video? 'Cause this one was embarrassing enough for the blogger who didn't have the good sense to be behind the instructor - or in the next room.

Oh fun! However much I want to not show this to all of my friends. And, Laura, you are tall compared to me! I'm 4'10" and standing right next to you.

That's me, Mitali, in the white shirt and jean capris. Why don't I ever remember that if you hide in the back row, when the whole group turns, suddenly you're in the front row, and then you have to look over your shoulder at the teacher to see what you're supposed to be doing?

So fun! Thanks again!
