Pleasanton Library's Teen Fusion Night

Hey, Northern Californians! I'm heading your way this Saturday to talk about growing up between cultures at the Pleasanton Public Library. Apart from moi, it's going to be an adult-free event, so teens are welcome at 4 p.m. to join in on the conversation. After an hour or so, the library closes, I get kicked out, and the real fun begins -- movie, food, mendhi, and music. (Don't worry, I'll be relaxing in flannel jammies and drinking tea with my parents ... true bliss.)

Hi Mitali! Thanks so much for coming to our library again! Everyone had a great time (as Teresa must have already told you). I always love hearing you speak because you are amazingly insightful. But I've already had a great conversation during the interview, so I won't bore you with the same information all over again. :o)

Just wanted to say thanks, and I'll be sure to keep in touch this time!

Prachi! I had such a great time. You guys asked such thoughtful questions, and it was wonderful to be with a bunch of teens who are (mostly) growing up between cultures. See you in February when I come to Towne Books!
